The Land Development Agency has announced details for the next stage of residential land release in the new Gungahlin suburb of Throsby. A total of 203 single residential blocks will be available by ballot with the sales process starting this month and finishing in May. Block sizes range from 315m2 to 908m2.
Registrations for the ballot will be open online via the LDA website from 12–26 April. Once registrations have closed the ballot draw will take place on Monday 9 May. Following the completion of the ballot draw only the first 203 applicants drawn will be guaranteed a Block Selection Appointment, which will commence on Tuesday 24 May.
This is the second stage of land release in Throsby and follows the sale of 106 blocks by auction earlier this year. Throsby’s convenient location, opposite Harrison on the eastern side of Horse Park Drive, has proved very popular and we expect demand will remain high with the stage 2 release.
If you’re interested in purchasing land in Throsby you may like to attend the LDA’s information day on Saturday 9 April. You can also speak to our sales staff when visiting our display home in Moncrieff who will be happy to offer you advice.
